The III International Conference “Genomics, Metagenomics and Molecular Biology of Microorganisms” was held at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology on November 23-24, 2024. The conference was held by the Laboratory of Metagenome Analysis under the direction of Prof. A.B. Isaev and the Center for Molecular and Cell Biology of Skoltech.
The conference was aimed at sharing knowledge and experience, discussing the results of the latest research projects, promoting cooperation between leading experts in a wide range of topics related to genetics, molecular biology and biochemistry of microorganisms.
This year the organizing committee of the conference received 187 applications for participation from students, postgraduates, scientists specializing in genomics, metagenomics and molecular biology of microorganisms from 69 scientific and educational institutions from 25 cities and 6 countries.
The conference program included plenary lectures by leading scientists, oral and poster sessions, and a tour of Skoltech for those who interested.
